Three ways to pay

Choose how you pay. Keep the same team.

We price the options side by side, so your finance or contracting team can pick the one that fits.
  • Buy

    Own it on day one.

    Usually a capital budget

    • Often the lowest total cost when you keep the equipment for its full life
    • OEM program pricing on every order
    • Available on every contract vehicle and direct
  • Lease

Fixed payments over a set term.

Spreads the cost over the term

    • Match payments to the useful life of the equipment
    • At the end of the term, refresh, extend, or buy it
    • Arranged through Norseman Financial Services
  • Pay as you use

Pay for the capacity you use.

    Usually an operating budget

    • Capacity installed on site with room to grow
    • A monthly bill that tracks actual use above a committed base
    • Five OEM programs to compare side by side
Same Norseman design, engineering, integration lab, and support on every path
Pay as you use

Five OEM consumption programs, one partner

Norseman designs, delivers, and supports each program, so you can compare them side by side instead of vendor by vendor.

More ways to fit the budget

Other options we can arrange

Depending on the project and credit approval, options can include:
  • Deferred payments

Start the project now and begin payments later, so work does not wait for the next budget period.

  • One payment for the whole project

Hardware, software, and Norseman services combined into a single payment schedule.

  • Planned refresh

Terms timed to the useful life of the equipment, so replacement is planned instead of urgent.

  • Phased capacity

Start with what you need today and add capacity in stages as the budget allows.

Agencies and enterprises

Built for how your budget works

For agencies

Match the payment to the funds you have.

  • Some programs have operating funds but no budget for a large purchase. Leasing and pay as you use can open options with the funds you already have.
  • Government leases are typically structured year by year with options to renew, in line with how appropriations work.
  • Planning for fiscal year end? We price purchase, lease, and pay as you use side by side, so you can act quickly.
  • ITES-4H supports purchase, lease, and consumption models. Ask which programs are available on your vehicle.

Your contracting officer and financial management office decide which funds and structures apply.

For enterprises

Keep cash free for the business.

  • Spread the cost of a refresh or an AI build out over its useful life instead of one large purchase.
  • Line up payments with your budget cycle, and pay for more capacity only as you grow.
  • Predictable monthly costs that are easier to forecast.
  • Buy direct. No contract vehicle needed.

OEM program pricing across 300 plus partners applies on every path.

Before you decide: Accounting and tax treatment depend on the terms of each agreement. Under current lease accounting standards (ASC 842 for companies, GASB 87 for state and local governments), most leases longer than 12 months are recorded on the balance sheet. Please review options with your own finance team and advisors.

    Approval and paperwork

Norseman Financial Services or the OEM program works through approval and paperwork with your finance or contracting team.

  4. 4

    Deliver and support

We stage it in our integration lab, deploy it, and support it, whichever way you pay.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Who provides the financing?

Leases and financing are arranged through Norseman Financial Services and are subject to credit approval. Pay as you use programs follow each OEM's terms, and Norseman designs, delivers, and supports them.

Is pay as you use the same as a lease?

No. A lease spreads the cost of specific equipment over a fixed term. Pay as you use bills for the capacity you consume above a committed base, and the equipment typically stays owned by the OEM.

Can government agencies use these options?

Often, yes. Agency leases are typically structured year by year with renewal options, and ITES-4H supports purchase, lease, and consumption. Availability of each OEM program varies by vehicle, so we confirm it before you plan around it.

Will a lease keep the equipment off our balance sheet?

Usually not. Under ASC 842 and GASB 87, most leases longer than 12 months are recorded on the balance sheet. Talk with your finance team or advisors about your situation.

Do you publish rates?

No. Rates and terms depend on the project, the term, and credit approval, and they change with the market. We quote them with each proposal.

Does the way we pay change the engineering or support?

No. The same Norseman engineers design, stage, deliver, and support the solution on every path.
